Is Warren Buffett Brain Dead?

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Warren Buffett has touched a national nerve.
The 80-year-old "Oracle of Omaha," one of the world's three richest men, has taken to the pages of the New York Times to call for higher taxes -- yes, higher taxes -- for himself and his well-off peers. (Monday, August 15, 2011).  What a concept. This coming from a man that has been noted as being as smart as President Obama. When two powerful brains like this come together, it is time for the "common man" to demand that this becomes policy, rather than just idle talk. But wait......if Warren Buffett wants to pay higher taxes.....just what is stopping him? Is there some law that you can't overpay your taxes? No, there is no legal obstacle preventing the "Oracle of Omaha" from writing a big fat check to the U.S. Government. But maybe there is some hidden reason for this one man "brain trust" wanting others pay higher taxes? Or maybe this 80 years old needs a conserver for his personal finances. In other words, maybe the "Oracle" is "brain dead".  But the truth of the matter is that this man has made his fortune by the grace of government. He has made a fortune by avoiding the laws that weigh on the "common man".  He has had the ability, and foresight, to buy into, and direct. companies that are regulated by oppressive laws passed by a corrupt Congress. And by understanding these repressive rules, he has been able to pick winners in business. The game is fixed and everyone knows it, but the "common man" must work to live, so he has not paid attention as to how corrupt our government has gotten in the past 70 years. If Buffett had worked and developed a business that created some actual tangible product, or some consumer service, he probably would not be so eager in wanting the government to take more taxes from his hard earned profits (in his youth he did sell newspapers, and soda drinks, door to door, and he did invest in a Sinclair Texaco gas station as a side investment that turned out to be a failure). Rather than wanting the government to create more laws, and rules for business, he would understand that government rules only place roadblocks in the way of Freedom. That they reward those who invest in seeing that their "friends" are elected to office, so that special rules can be "invented" to impact on their competitors, or make their business "special" or "too big to fail".  I am sure Warren Buffett is a nice guy, but he hasn't done anything that impresses me enough to join him in his call for higher taxes on the productive citizens who take the risks, and provide services, the public wants.  So rather than telling government to make more tax laws for the wealthy, how about the "Oracle of Omaha" just writing a billion dollar check to the government, and asking those who think as he does, to do the same. Bet, Buffett's check, and one from Hillary Clinton (she doesn't think she pays enough taxes either) would be the only checks written to the treasury.

Nigel Smith, London Sporting Times, Interview With Lord Howard Hurts

This is a copy of an interview by Nigel Smith, published in the August 4, 2011 issue, of  The London Sporting Times.

Nigel:  In this article, I ask candid questions, and attempt to find out just what makes Lord Howard Hurts "Run".  For readers not familiar with this most interesting individual, a man who is not only current with the political dealings of today, but possesses and projects a "window" into the future. I only ask you to read his blog: freedomfiles.blgospot.com, so as to familiarize yourself with this English philosopher and businessman....now American citizen. I first became acquainted with him in the early 1990's, when he made the press with his astoundingly correct theory on the mathematical probability of success; His renowned statement: The 50-50-90 Rule. This rule states that anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong. Time and time again, this theory has proved true for me. So let me get on with the interview.

Nigel:  Lord Hurts. Please inform the readers of your background and education.

Lord Hurts:  I was born in 1945, at the family estate in Kent, England, and had the usual English upbringing, according to my family status. This was something that was still intact even after the war years. Much of the country was in tattered ruins, and because the country had to be rebuilt from the "ground" up, it afforded everyone the possibility to throw off the old mantel of  "Royalty", and move up in a "social system" based on "drive" instead of heredity.  I attended Ramsgate Holy Trinity Primary School,  Broadstairs, Kent, where I learn my first lesson dealing with the reality of life......I think I was about 10 years old at the time. I believe this was my first "hint" that the fantasy world I was born into was just that. A fantasy.

Nigel:  So, at 10 you began to see the world with a worlds view?

Lord Hurts:  Decidedly so.  I was a rather large lad, for my age, and I used my size to intimidate and take advantage of other students. Boys that is.  At school I gathered together a few other boys who liked to follow, and engage in mischief, and we.....for lack of a better word.... terrorized the classes above, and a grade of so below, us. We ruled the school yard. It was then that I became aware that the teachings of our Anglican church....."Might Doesn't Make Right", was pure bunk. That it was either something made up by Morons or by those who wanted to rule our minds through apparent lies. This is when I first became aware that an education based on trial and error was the only real way to understand the realities of life. That this method might be slow and not always get one straight on to where one desired to be, but it was the way of the real world.

Nigel:  Then you were interested, even at that early age about the difference between reality and fantasy?

Lord Hurts:  Very much so. The church was a big part of our life during those years, and I just could not understand....for instance....how Noah could have built such a large boat as he was well over 100 years old at the time, and then gathered all the animals on earth onto that boat, and then drifted for all that time before coming to  rest on the top of a mountain. I wondered how it would be possible to feed all those animals, and what about the fact that some animals only ate other animals? Then there was another part of my religious upbringing that played large on my mind. Every Sunday the priest would come before the congregation, and hold up his arms and exclaim: "It Is Better To Give Than To Receive"...........  I noticed that the collection plates were always empty. I thought....if it is better to give than to receive, why sometime.....are the plates not filled with money?

Nigel:  So then, at an early age you were "turned" against religion?

Lord Hurts:  Yes. I used reason, and figured that the only thing the Anglican church  had to offer me was contradictory statements. Another big statement the priest always made was, "Might Doesn't Make Right", but at the same time the church was using its might to control the thinking of its members. I can, even to this day, some 50 plus years later, hear the placid, deep voice, of our priest. He was so calm, and his voice so modulated, that it was hard to disbelieve anything he told us. And remember, he reinforced this by continually telling us that he was God's servant.  I remember when I first thought that this man of God was a fraud. He had called on me to help serve at a wedding. The people being married were a young couple whom I had little knowledge of. They were of a middle class family, and he needed someone to help him with the service. He mentioned to me that it would pay well...... and the vision of pound notes filled my head,  and I accepted the job. There was a practice session, and then the wedding a day or so later. I arrived and did my job, and waited in the back of the church with the priest to receive my pay. Well the groom presented the priest with an envelope, and I could see that it had a goodly amount of money inside. Both the groom and the bride thanked me for my service, and they left the church. The priest opened the envelope, and looked at the money inside, and turned to me and said, "I am so sorry that they were so rude. They forgot to include something for your service".  And using his well modulated voice, he said, "Don't worry. I will think of you at my next wedding service, and I will see that you are re numerated"....this priest always liked to use "big" words to intimidate young persons. He always said that he was helping us, the acolytes, to build a stellar vocabulary, but what 10 year old would even begin to use "re numerated" in his everyday speak? No, this priest was a con man. He knew how to keep his "sheep" under control.

Nigel:  Did you ever help with another wedding?

Lord Hurts:  Hell no. I had no faith in the church from that point onward. I had seen that the envelop contained a goodly amount of pound notes, but this fraud did not see fit to share whatever meager wages it contained. Within a few months, after this incident, I had withdrawn from the church entirely. I had other things to do on Sunday mornings.

Nigel:  So this was the beginning of your enlightenment?

Lord Hurts:  For sure. Even though I was the son of a Baron, and the eldest son, I had doubts about my future...maybe I had better learn all that there was to be known about making a living in the England of the 1950's. So, I began to read everything I could get my hands on....very little fiction...... mostly, non fiction. I became reality based. I also, because of my reading, became an American history buff. I began to think that America was the place to live. Freedom became my "engine" of survival.

Nigel:  When did you come to America, and are you an American citizen?

Lord Hurts:  I attended Loretto School in Scotland, graduating in 1962, and then went to the University of Bristol, graduating with a degree in economics in 1965, and finally I decided to move to America and become a citizen..... sometime in 1967, I think it was. At that time I knew that I was "diagonally parking, in a parallel world", so a change of some kind was needed for sure.  I remember thinking, at that time, that unless I got out of England, I would always be attending a gun fight carrying a sword....... so to speak. England was starting down that slippery slope to socialism, and I wanted to be guided by an open mind, rather than being coddled by so called intellects, that by University training, somehow knew the answer to every question, regardless of how little actual experience they possessed.  It was the time of the mass explosion of the "Do As I Say, Not As I Do" crowd.  The "Sun Was Setting" on the British Empire, and nobody seemed concerned. It was the age of Hope and Change, and the end of Victorian thoughts and actions. Everybody was equal regardless of ambition or talents.  The world was love and sharing. I became a citizen of America in 1976.

Nigel:  Was the move to America traumatic?

Lord Hurts:  No. Actually, it was a very easy transition. The language was, for the most part, similar. But the food and local quips were difficult to grasp at times. But after more than 20 years of living in Florida, I would think that I am more American than British, and few Brit's even give notice, except to comment on how "up" I am with British history. No. It has not been a big problem moving from my "Royal" upbringing to average American citizen.

Nigel:  I read in your posting about American being a "Nation of Blind Sheep", and America a country that has lost its "Moral Compass". And I just wonder what basis you have for stating these very provocative positions?

Lord Hurts:  Well Nigel. When I came to America, I had studied extensively, American history, and was aware, even in that time period that America was in decline. That the "Golden Age" was over. That the "Barbarians" were at the gates, and that the education system of America was going to be the "make or break" factor......the factor that would either speed up, or postpone the decline.  It was apparent to me that Americans were buying into the false idea that to make a smart electorate, or citizenry, you needed a college educated public. I am referring to a majority of the public. Of course there is a need for......say 10%...... of the citizenry to be university educated, but the majority of employment can be handled by vocation trained persons. So rather than having over educated workers doing tasks such a carpentry, masonry, or electrical.....not mentioning clerking, and others......... there is not need to invest in higher education for the remainder 90% of the work force. Everything at that time, and this was in 1976, was geared to get the mass of high school graduates into college or university, regardless of how many remedial courses that they had to take to get  them "up to speed".

Nigel:  Wait a minute. Explain yourself on this point further.

Lord Hurts:   Well, the education system was being run by unions, and corrupt politicians. The unions were interested in perpetuating themselves while pretending to be interested in higher education for the youths. The way for the unions to perpetuate themselves was to get control over the teachers, and this was done by ramping up wages, pensions, and lowering actual teacher responsibility. The unions corrupted the teachers so that the responsibility of the teachers was not to teach in a quality manner, but to find ways to stop the parents from having anything to do with the quality of the education, and to make it difficult for the parents to have any control over the quality of the teachers. In other words......once a teacher was in the union, there would be little pressure exerted to see that the teacher was teaching. The focus was on keeping the job, receiving more pay for less work, better working conditions, better pensions, and keeping the parents from controlling the direction the educational system was taking. As you can see today........this unionization is the reason most entering college students have to take so many remedial courses. Courses that should have been learned in high school. And this is the reason they have to pay such a high price for the completion of their "Free", Congress certified, basic education. This includes subjects such as math, English, and basic science. There is no disputing that America pays the highest cost per student in the world, but yet still turns out graduates that can't even write a letter to grandmother. I am exaggerating some what, but this is a real issue. These students don't read the classics, and therefore have no idea about how to communicate except in the most rudimentary way. And most high school graduates can't even balance a checkbook. And as the price of this bad education goes up, those in political control continue to shout: "Unless more money is taken from the taxpayers, the nation will be in ruins". Well the nation is already in ruins, and it is the fault of the unions, and the teachers, that are more interested in their own future than that of their students.

Nigel: Lord Hurts.  Are you saying that the American education system has been, and continues to be run by persons who don't have an interest in the outcome of the graduating students? That there has been some type of conspiracy going on to "Dumb Down" the students?

Lord Hurts:  Yes. That is exactly what I am saying. There has been, and continues to be, a conspiracy in the education departments all over America to "Dumb Down" the students in order to increase the financial well being of the teachers, and teaching administrators. Anytime you have a system that rewards bad behavior, and has no mechanism in place to fire bad workers, you have corruption, and a conspiracy. Even if the conspiracy is not one that the participants go to meetings and make specific plans. It is a conspiracy of "Mind Set".  It is the attraction of persons with a  similar "thought pattern," where responsibility for policing the participants is left to themselves. Much like the saying that the only one capable of rating the teachers is the universities. The same institutions that gave out the degrees in the first place. The education departments of America work, using the same theory used by Adolf Hitler, “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed”.

Nigel:  You don't really believe this, do you?

Lord Hurts:  Of course I believe this, because it is true. There is no doubt that graduating Americans are not as smart as their counterparts 50 years ago. Responsibility has been replaced by handouts. The focus on education today is grounded in the idea that one can be whatever they want to be, regardless of the reality. A blind person can be an airline pilot in the educational world today.  And if there is someone bold enough to point out that this is not a reasonable option, there is some lawyer ready to file a law suit for discrimination. What is Up is now Down. The Mad Hatter doesn't seem the least bit "mad". America becomes Wonderland. There can be no positive results from all this social cleansing and intelligence balancing. The reality of the world is math.

Nigel:  I have read where you believe that math is proof of a "Creator," and that math is the solution to everything. Please  elaborate on this theme.

Lord Hurts:  Ok. Let me explain. There is a mathematical formula for everything on earth today. Anything can be created, or replicated, once given the correct mathematical formula. 2 plus 2 always equals 4. It doesn't matter how hot or cold the weather is, or if one is upside down or on a mountain top, 2 plus 2 never equals 5, it only equals 4. Math is a concept that you can not touch or see. It is a mental process that is exclusive to humans. Every civilization on earth, past and present, has an understanding of math. Nobody invented math. It was always in the brain of humans. It did not just appear out of "thin" air. Evolution has zero impact on math. It exists because it is the basic building block of all human existence. But, because it is a universal concept of all humans on earth, it is a concept that had to have been "programmed" into the conscious brain. It could not have appeared one day, and somehow transferred to all persons on earth. Because this basic building block had to be programmed into the conscious brain of all humans on earth, this constitutes proof that there had to be a "Creator". So this is where my thoughts of past religion.....my Church of England teachings....finally meet what I believe today.

Nigel:  You are back to the church?

Lord Hurts: No. But my reality of the "Creator", and the teachings of the Bible are more in line, today. Not to say that I believe everything that is written in the Bible is true, but I am sure that everything written in the Bible is the word of the "Creator".

Nigel:  You say, that you don't believe that everything in the Bible is true, but that you are sure that everything written in the Bible is the word of the "Creator". You have me confused on the difference here.

Lord Howard:  There is a clear distinction if you take the two ideas and look at them. I don't believe all the stories in the Bible to be true accounts of events that happened, but I do believe that all the stories are words that convey some "picture" that the "Creator" has need for us to know or understand. Remember when I mentioned that I was curious about how Noah could have built the arc and kept all those animals aboard; For all those days; And to finally land on the top of a mountain. Well, most people believe that Noah landed on Mt. Arrat. Well there is no such mountain. There are the Arrat mountains. A chain of very high mountains....mountains over 20,000 feet in height. Mountains that have major lightning storms. Mountains, where to keep alive, one would need oxygen, and warm clothing.....and how would warm climate animals survive in such a place? And how would they get from the mountain top to the valley? Was there some road that lead down? Of course not. But when one thinks about this situation, and thinks about the fact that all human experience is mathematical....that the Bible is the word of the "Creator", then suddenly one comes to the answer of how it is possible that a boat, stranded on the top of one of the highest mountain chains on earth, filled with all the animals on earth, could be a true story.

Nigel:  Are you telling me that you believe the Noah and the Arc story? That you really believe it is a true story? I don't understand how you could, even for a minute, believe such a fantasy tale. I now also see why people have said that you are on "The Crazy Train".

Lord Howard:  Nigel. I am not just on "The Crazy Train", I am the "Driver" of "The Crazy Train". I can now see that this interview is finished, and why there is no need for me to explain myself. I have given you all the information you need to know why the story of Noah and the Arc could indeed be a true story, and if you can not "mathematically" deduce how it is a possibility, then you can not understand that "Might Always Makes Right".  Just stick around and watch the political theater in the US....that is coming.......... and you will witness what the churches have always preached........ as "hate".........is in fact the reality given us by the "Creator".

Obama Is Intelligent. We Are Stupid.

Are you tired of hearing how intelligent President Obama is? How his intellect is so superior to that of the "common man", that his moronic statements, and actions, are viewed as proof of his ability to multi function, and are just "miss spokes", not actual moronic blabbering.  And when he states that there are 57 states, we have to remember that he is a graduate of Harvard, and has a  Nobel Prize in his possession, and he doesn't have to explain why he made such an untrue statement,  and because of his most esteemed academic accomplishments, he must be the smartest President ever elected. End of story. Go "hammer" on Sarah Palin.

Stupid is a relative term. Obama is the product of two similar gene pools. His degrees are nothing more than self serving documents issued by institutions that have to, in whatever way, set a standard for themselves that is 180 degrees from the thinking of the "average" citizen (or how would they represent the high IQ class?). In other words, something straight out of Alice in Wonderland.  Up must always be Down, unless Down is Up....and then only on every other Thursday. Very little that Obama says is logically defendable. But with his Harvard degree, we mere intellectual "midgets" must accept that persons of our lower IQ  status can not be expected to understand, much less rationalize, the theories of a Harvard intellect.  In other words: Obama is not stupid regardless of how stupid his statements may seem to us, because he possesses a higher IQ, as documented by his Harvard degree, and his Nobel Prize. We "common people" are stupid because we expect Obama's statements to be something that is logical to our lower class status, or non Harvard degree class (morons with a low IQ, if I may be redundant),  and we are just too stupid to realize that we can never understand the statements, and thought patterns, of those of a higher IQ. Up is Down and Down is Up, unless it is Thursday,  excluding anyone  living west of the International Date Line.

We are not living in "The End of Times", but in the beginning of "The End of Reason and Logic".   “Alice: It would be so nice if something made sense for a change.” Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll.

Is it any wonder America has lost its "Moral Compass"?

I live in Florida, and June and July are traditionally our rain months. So today started out much like the past week. Clouds, sun, more clouds, and finally rain. It had not rained for over 2 months, and most everyone, myself included, complained about needing rain, and now, with the rain coming, I want it to STOP. Enough already. It is most depressing without the sun. The humidity must be over 200%. Once you begin to sweat, you can not dry. Usually, this type of oppressive heat is reserved for August and September, but for some reason it has arrived early this year. Here's hoping for an early winter, as  4 months of this is physically draining; to say the least.

My scuffing around the house in slippers and shorts was given meaning and direction when the door chimes began to ring. Looking out, I saw the post woman standing at the door, and patiently waiting with an envelope in her hand. Thinking that this could be a summons for jury duty, I gave thought to not answer the melodious request issued by the door bell, but then thinking that if it was a summons..... not answering would only provide a temporary reprieve, as government will continue to summons until the proverbial "cows come home".  So I slipped towards the front door, and answered the call. To my surprise it was not a summons from some local or Federal court, but a registered, signature required, letter, addressed to me, Lord Hurts. It had the return address of a prestigious law firm on the upper left hand side, and as the envelope seemed quite thick, I assumed, that it was a complaint against me by someone who thought I had given some grievance. And after  engaging  the postal worker in some small talk about the weather, and bidding the woman a "good day",  I opened the missive. I found it to contain both a letter, and  a certified check for $20,000.  The included letter of introduction made mention that a distant relative, The Earl of Warwick, Harold Standhope, had died this past year; that his lawyer, Randsom A. Hoarlick, had taken several months to track me down, and deliver the Earl's  final request; this check for $20,000.  Now the strange part to all of this is that I have no knowledge of the Earl, and further, I  hold no knowledge as to why he would be so generous with an apparent distant, distant, relative. But not one to look a "gift horse in the mouth", I  decided that I would deposit the check, and make some purchases to help stimulate our lagging economy; To wit, I decided that not only would I stimulate the economy, but that I would purchase only things or services that represented; "Made In The USA". I sat down at the pub table that resides in my kitchen area, and began making a list of things to purchase. My first thought was a new car, but $20,000 would not buy a "real" car, and anyway, I have several cars in my garage already; shirts and cravat. No. Imported from India, Indonesia, or China. Piece of furniture. No, imported from China. Suddenly, this stimulus project was becoming work. Think. What is "Made In America"? Suddenly, I thought about the women on the wrong side of town, the "Street Walkers". This is definitely "Made in America". Then I thought about Jack Daniel's. Not exactly my "cup of tea", but  "Made in America". Drugs, marijuana in particular. Grown right here in the National Forest's of Florida, "Made in America", for sure. Florida Lottery tickets. "Made in America". Boy, spending this money on "Made in America" products or services was going to be difficult; if not illegal. Is this all America stands for? Better save back a few dollars just in case some unintended consequences should arise from this "Made in America" buying spree. Is it any wonder America has lost its "Moral Compass"?

NASA sends its Juno Probe on a 5 year trip to Jupiter

On August 5, 2011, NASA sent its Juno Probe on a 5 year trip to Jupiter. This is a taxpayer funded mission that has these goals, as set by NASA:

Determine how much water is in Jupiter's atmosphere, which helps determine which planet formation theory is correct (or if new theories are needed)

Look deep into Jupiter’s atmosphere to measure composition, temperature, cloud motions and other properties

Map Jupiter’s magnetic and gravity fields, revealing the planet’s deep structure
Explore and study Jupiter’s magnetosphere near the planet’s poles, especially the auroras – Jupiter’s northern and southern lights – providing new insights about how the planet’s enormous magnetic force field affects its atmosphere.

Are you, as a taxpayer, impressed by this mission? If the answer is yes, you are a moron.  What is the need to know about how much water exists in Jupiter's atmosphere? Who cares what the temperature and cloud motions are doing on Jupiter? And finally, who cares if the magnetic force field on this planet even exists? This is just another of those crazy projects developed by the "MIT set" to provide taxpayer money to keep "Egg Heads" employed.  They are not interested in Free Enterprise. They are not interested in "living" in the "real world", and having to compete, and maybe finding that all their education in "Space Subjects" is something that qualifies them to hold the flag on road construction projects (the one that says, "Slow. Men Working").  I know. I must be riding on "The Crazy Train" again, because your school teachers, from grade school to college, have impressed on you how smart "Space Scientists" are, and how we need to know all about outer space so that in the event something "bad" happens here on earth, we can populate other planets. Yawn, Yawn.  Aren't these the same teachers who belong to a union, and are, 99%, members of the Democratic Party?   Now be logical. If you were told that you had to get into your car and drive from New York to California, you would scream, "I can't sit in a car for 3 days. I need to take a plane."  But these smart MIT guys have a 5 year trip planned to a planet that holds no possibility of "normal" earth life, and you as a taxpayer don't even complain, much less scream. So, based on what we now know about "space",  we must conclude that travel to a planet that can accommodate "normal" earth life is years, and years, and years, beyond Jupiter. So doesn't logic "kick in", and make you want to change NASA's goal to that of finding Big Foot, instead? Sure seems more logical to me. But here is the real laugh about this Jupiter Probe: "The probe is carrying some unusual passengers: three Lego mini figures. All three figures have a history with Jupiter. One of them is made to resemble Jupiter himself, the Roman thunder god that inspired the naming of the planet. Another is Juno, the sister (and wife… ick) of Jupiter, and obviously who the probe is named after. The last is a mini Galileo, the legendary astronomer who first observed Jupiter’s moons. Galileo was also the name of the last probe NASA sent to explore Jupiter, which arrived there in 1995." (PCMag.com. article by Peter Pachal, August 5, 2011). I am not making this stuff up. It is real, and this space probe, after circling Jupiter for 11 months, will crash on that planet. Now just tell me the value of sending these Lego men to circle Jupiter for 11 months, and crashing them on that planet?  People who believe in space travel are suffering from a serious mental illness. And taxpayers who fund such nonsense are "Blind Sheep".  "What luck for rulers that men do not think."

The Lost Dauphin

I have, in past postings, made mention about President Obama being Americas "Lost Dauphin".  There is a similarity in the facts in as much as Obama has a confused history of his "birth", and to smooth this part of his life out, he has recently posted a copy of his birth certificate on line; For the world to view; And even thought many document experts doubt that this birth certificate is an actual copy of an official document, Obama insists that the citizens of America take his word for it being a true copy; And he refuses to let any doubter have a certified copy, from the vaults of Hawaii, to examine as a form of cross examination. This action alone makes it an almost certainty that the Internet copy is nothing more than a self-serving FAKE. But alas, the "Blind Sheep" citizens of this country would rather not face reality, and they mistakenly "pin" their hopes on removing this Marxist from office in the Presidential elections of 2012.  Courage is also lacking in "Blind Sheep," and Obama takes great advantage of this fact, thus giving him time enough to plot his moves to destroy this nations economics to such a degree that the majority of the citizens will be begging the government to help, when both jobs and food are lacking,  and all the while, the government, alone, will be the reason for these disastrous circumstances.  So, as there is no reason  to continue to "beat a dead horse", I will move on to something more interesting, but on this same topic.

Did you, when in high school, ever read: Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, by Mark Twain? Yes? Well if you are like me, you came to the part about the Lost Dauphin, and sort of did not understand the controversy dealing with this character. Well, it seems that the last Bourbon, King of France, Louis XVl, and his wife Marie Antoinette, had a son, Louis Charles.  And during the revolution, and before Marie was beheaded, Louis Charles, 8 years old, was taken and imprisoned. The government records state that he died, in the Temple prison, at age 10 (June 8, 1795) from  tuberculosis. And this is where the rumors and controversy start. Some say a substitute boy was placed in the prison cell, and Louis Charles was sent to America with adoptive parents; It is a fact that a doctor who had been summoned to the prison, to treat the boy, died a week before, either the death, or the substitution, of the Dauphin (Dauphin is the nobility title: eldest son of the King of France),  and this doctor's wife had hinted that he had refused to administer some irregular treatment on the young Dauphin.  But the rumors persisted, and that is how it came to pass that former French Citizen, and American naturalist artist, John James Audubon, who was the same age as the Dauphin, and had migrated to America at age 18,  became the focus of this Lost Dauphin story.  Now the known facts of the Lost Dauphin would seem to easily preclude Audubon from being Louis Charles, but on a visit to France in 1828, Audubon wrote an intriguing letter home to his wife. In part it said:  "patient, silent, bashful, and yet powerful of physique and of mind, dressed as a common man, I walk the streets! I bow! I ask permission to do this or that! I… who should command all!" John James Audubon was, for sure, a most interesting character even if he was not the Lost Dauphin. Do you own homework and read about this most gifted artist.

Socialism Is Inevitable Unless Obama Is Removed, Now!

America has a huge problem, that unless dealt with before the elections of 2012, will result in the "death" of the Republic. The problem is that most, productive, Americans are just too busy working at a job, to insure that they can pay their bills, and taxes, that politics is viewed as a minor distraction instead of the major crisis it truly is. The Tea Party is composed of persons who have a moral understanding of the responsibilities of citizenship, and most understand that government, state and local, needs to become smaller, but a high percentage of these "members" are the recipients of large pensions from the companies, or branch of government, that employed them during their "working" years.  Their moral outrage is present, but they do not understand, and will not understand, that the pensions awarded them by government, and the unions, is not reasonable when compared to the pensions that others, working in the private sector, will, or do, receive. How many privately owned businesses  can grant pensions to their workers based on the size of the paycheck of the last years worked, rather than the actual amount of pay withheld? And how can a private business guarantee pensions if these pensions are invested in the stock market, and that market "dumps" when it is time to pay these pensions? Only a business that can receive money from government (tax money taken rather than earned) can guarantee pensions regardless of the "condition" of the stock market at any given time  (there is no "Free Lunch"). So, understanding this, it is inevitable that this Obama, Marxist march, will continue regardless of how many people "mouth" the Tea Party position.  And as the "Baby Boomers" retire, they will want "stuff", and they will vote for "stuff" over morals every time. With nearly 46 million Americans on "Food Stamps" there is no question that this country will "crash".  It is just a matter of time. Now compare this 46 million Americans on "Food Stamps" with the increasing illegal population coming into this country from Mexico, and couple this with the fact that these Mexicans are not getting "Food Stamps", and you have proof that Americans will not take jobs that they don't want. That Americans would rather have the government provide their food than take an available job that they consider low class, or low pay.  And so the move to Socialism will continue. And with Obama and the Congress now using more than 40% of every tax dollar received just to pay the interest on the National Debt, there is no way our economy can continue go grow.  No government has ever been able to borrow itself to prosperity regardless of the economic theories from Harvard.  In time, the producers will stop working, and they will join that 46 million on "Food Stamps", and get in the "hand out" line, or they will find another country to move to so that they can watch the "fall", rather than be involved in it. Obama must go now, or this Republic will not survive.  Action must be taken before the "crash" so that those who understand the responsibilities of citizenship can gather together, and work against the Marxist in charge. . . ."if you drink much from a bottle marked ‘POISON’, it is certain to disagree with you, sooner or later". . .(Through The Looking Glass, Lewis Carroll).  This is why I believe that the only way to stop this march towards Socialism is to have a President who is a military man. The coming, inevitable, financial crash, coupled with the civil unrest that will accompany it, will only be able to be controlled by someone who knows how to administer "force".  The Constitution needs to be defended, and traitors need to be punished. Government "handouts" need to be reserved for those in NEED rather than those in WANT. We need a man like Paul Vallely, MG, retired, to lead us through this wilderness.
